PDP London (formerly Paul Davis & Partners) is a 120 strong, international, award winning architectural practice with offices in London and Hong Kong.
To coincide with their 21st anniversary, Bibliothèque were commissioned to develop a new name, identity and website. Working closely with the client and strategist Peter Economides, we helped devise a name that both reflected their renewed vision and strongly connected to their London roots – PDP London.
The logotype acts as a visual shorthand for the practice; PDP set in a modern sans, and the contraction, LDN, in an elegant serif to reflect the broad output of the studio – from contemporary projects to more sensitive heritage works.
Materiality and process were used to reflect the practice’s attention to detail, giving business cards and report covers an elegant tactility.
The website was developed to offer more than just a standard portfolio site, giving the practice a voice and a platform for discourse, whilst also sharing some of their studio culture.
