Information Age Book
Information Age explores the development of information and communications networks from the 19th Century to the present day. The book was an accompaniment to the opening of the Science Museum’s biggest and most ambitious gallery to date, which Bibliothèque also worked on. It combines astonishing stories of transformational change, with a visual history of unique and historic objects from the exhibition. Each chapter represents a different communication technology: Cable, Exchange, Broadcast, Constellation, Web and Cell – the six networks that changed our world.
