A New Place 2 Drown

A New Place 2 Drown showcases the poetry and artwork of brothers Jack & Archy Marshall (aka King Krule). The book depicts the creative process the brothers share, as well as their social and home lives in South London.

Bibliothèque art directed the book, interpreting the huge variety of content including sketches, paintings, photos, notes and poems, and turning it into a visual representation of the brothers’ daily lives.

The book is accompanied by a 37 minute soundtrack by Archy Marshall, aka King Krule, as well as a microsite designed in collaboration with Joel Baker. The soundtrack became the second album to be released by King Krule, using the book as its physical manifestation with an associated download, rather than a vinyl release.
