20 Midtown

A wayfinding inspired identity for a refurbished office space in central London.

The concept started with the request for an innovative approach to the wayfinding and signage within the development by Hut Architecture. A ‘tabbed’ stencil font was developed that allowed the signage to be cut from single sheets of powder coated steel, with the tab acting as the mounting detail. This allowed the signage to be fixed directly to walls in a simple and discreet manner and work modularly for the building directory via a set of bespoke, illuminated, wooden dado rails.
