Mere
Mere is a relaxed fine dining experience founded by husband and wife team, Monica and David Galetti. The name of the restaurant was inspired by Monica’s mother’s name and the idiosyncratic letter M in the logotype references the Samoan family tattoo, worn on her wrist.
Separate menus for the Food, Bar and Wine were created, each using a unique combination of three juxtaposing inlaid materials. The exquisite level of finishing and detail had to be as precise and elegant as the food itself.
The materials and finishes used on the menus were inspired by the interior design of Mere, which was created together with Monica by London architecture and design studio Softroom.
A specially created ‘Tapa Cloth’, created for Monica and David in Samoa, was the inspiration for an abstract graphic texture and used on the Business Cards and other environmental graphics.
